- Sichuan mapo tofu - 300g
- Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp
- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Ginger, grated - 1 tsp
- Green onions, chopped - 2 stalks
- Soy sauce - 1 tbsp
- Sesame oil - 1 tsp
- Sichuan peppercorns, crushed - 1/2 tsp
- Red pepper flakes - 1/4 tsp
Instructions
- Heat vegetable oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the Sichuan mapo tofu and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until heated through.
- Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, and crushed Sichuan peppercorns. Cook for another minute.
- Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and green onions. Stir well to combine.
- Transfer to a serving plate and serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
