  2. Vegetable oil - 2 tbsp
  3. Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  4. Ginger, grated - 1 tsp
  5. Green onions, chopped - 2 stalks
  6. Soy sauce - 1 tbsp
  7. Sesame oil - 1 tsp
  8. Sichuan peppercorns, crushed - 1/2 tsp
  9. Red pepper flakes - 1/4 tsp

Instructions

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a wok or skillet over medium-high heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Add the Sichuan mapo tofu and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until heated through.
  4. Stir in soy sauce, sesame oil, and crushed Sichuan peppercorns. Cook for another minute.
  5. Sprinkle with red pepper flakes and green onions. Stir well to combine.
  6. Transfer to a serving plate and serve hot with steamed rice or noodles.
