Lemon Herb Steamed Egg
A light and flavorful steamed egg dish infused with the refreshing taste of lemon and aromatic herbs.
Ingredients
- Eggs - 4
- Lemon juice - 1 tbsp
- Fresh parsley, chopped - 1 tbsp
- Fresh chives, chopped - 1 tbsp
- Salt - 1/2 tsp
- Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
Instructions
- Crack the eggs into a bowl and whisk until well combined.
- Add the lemon juice, chopped parsley, chopped chives, salt, and black pepper to the eggs. Mix thoroughly.
- Pour the egg mixture into two heatproof bowls.
- Bring water to a boil in a steamer. Place the bowls in the steamer and cover with a lid.
- Steam for about 8-10 minutes or until the eggs are set.
- Carefully remove the bowls from the steamer and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
- Garnish with additional fresh herbs if desired and enjoy your lemon herb steamed egg!
